Welcome to TiYi. This User Agreement (this "Agreement") is entered into between you and Weigan Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our") and governs your download, installation, access to, and use of the TiYi application and related services (the "Service") on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Please read this Agreement carefully before using the Service, especially provisions concerning disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law. By tapping Agree, installing the app, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This Agreement works together with our Privacy Policy for TiYi. Rules for personal information processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
1.1 TiYi is a multi-protocol VPN client utility for connecting, on your device, to proxy nodes, remote configuration URLs, or VPN servers that you import yourself. Features may include, without limitation:
Available features depend on your app version, device, operating system, and distribution channel. Packet tunneling relies on the system Network Extension; IKEv2 relies on system VPN. Capabilities may differ by OS version. We may update, adjust, or discontinue features from time to time.
1.2 The Service is client software, not a VPN hosting service. We do not provide, host, or operate public proxy or VPN nodes, and we do not warrant the availability, speed, logging practices, or legality of any third-party node. Nodes, remote configurations, and servers are obtained and imported by you; your relationship with those third parties is governed by their own terms.
1.3 Core connectivity is currently available to all users. The Service does not offer in-app purchases or paid subscriptions and does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs. If a future version introduces paid features or advertising, we will update this Agreement and the Privacy Policy as required by law and obtain your consent where necessary.
1.4 The Service does not require you to create an in-app account operated by us. Profiles are stored primarily in the main app. The compiled configuration needed for the current connection, some preferences, and logs may be shared between the app and the Network Extension through an App Group. The current version does not provide cloud account sync operated by us.
1.5 After VPN is enabled, device network traffic may be forwarded through the node you select and may affect the network path of some or all applications. The Service does not guarantee that connections will always succeed, that speed will meet a particular need, that traffic cannot be observed by third parties, or that you can circumvent any network restriction, censorship, or legal obligation.
2.1 You must have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are a minor, please read this Agreement with your guardian and use the Service only with guardian consent.
2.2 You understand that the Service is provided for lawful personal use, or other authorized network connectivity, on your own device. You must comply with the laws of your country or region, the location of the node, and app-store rules. You must not use the Service in any manner that is unlawful, infringing, or intended to evade mandatory legal obligations.
2.3 You must not use the Service to:
2.4 You are responsible for the remote configurations, nodes, configuration files, QR codes, account credentials, and other content you import or store locally through the Service, including their authenticity, legality, security, and consequences of use. Incorrect configuration, untrusted configuration sources, or overly broad routing rules may cause loss of connectivity, traffic leakage, credential exposure, or connection to a malicious server. You bear all complaints, claims, penalties, and losses arising from your violation of law, this Agreement, third-party rights, or third-party node terms, and you will indemnify us for losses we suffer as a result.
2.5 We may restrict features, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to maintain security, comply with law, or cooperate with regulators, and we may report suspected unlawful conduct to competent authorities.
3.1 The software, interface design, icons, documentation, trademarks, and other content in the Service are owned by us or relevant rights holders. Except as required by law or expressly authorized in writing by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, rent, sell, or create derivative works from them.
3.2 Rights in profiles, node information, remote-configuration content, and local statistics or logs you generate through the Service are determined by your relationship with applicable law and with the relevant third parties. Except for network transfers you actively initiate (such as remote-configuration refresh, speed tests, update checks, or tunnel traffic to a node you specify), such data is processed mainly on your device. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use such data only as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service on your device. We do not claim ownership of your data on that basis, and we do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
4.1 The current version does not offer in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, or other paid unlocks. When the Service is distributed through the Apple App Store, download and use remain subject to Apple and related platform rules.
4.2 If a future version introduces paid content, products, prices, and benefit scope will be as shown in the app. Payment flows will be handled by the relevant app store; we will not collect or store your full payment card numbers or other sensitive payment credentials.
4.3 Fees you pay to a third-party node or remote-configuration provider are independent of the Service and must be handled under that third party's rules. We do not collect those fees, process those refunds, or warrant those services.
5.1 The Service relies mainly on operating-system and app-store capabilities for Network Extension, system VPN, Keychain, local storage, camera, local network, file access, update lookup, review prompts, and UI. Nodes, remote-configuration sources, speed-test addresses, and third-party DNS / connectivity-check services in the default configuration are operated by the relevant third parties. Third parties process information under their own privacy policies and terms. For details, see our Privacy Policy for TiYi.
5.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, speed, or logging practices of third-party nodes, remote configurations, DNS, speed-test services, products, platform policies, or content. Disputes between you and third parties must be resolved by you. We are not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for partial feature unavailability or losses caused by third-party service changes, outages, restrictions, logging, or blocking.
6.1 You understand that enabling VPN, switching nodes, refreshing a remote configuration, importing or deleting profiles, and changing routing mode or system proxy may be irreversible or may fail, and can cause brief loss of connectivity, apps being unable to reach the network, profile loss, or connection to an unexpected server. Confirm before importing a configuration from an unknown source or enabling include-all-networks. Except where we act with intent or gross negligence, you assume risks and losses arising from such operations.
6.2 Network quality, firewalls, carrier policies, system VPN authorization status, node load, and third-party outages may affect connectivity. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We use reasonable efforts to keep the client stable but do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, anonymous, or untraceable operation, or permanent compatibility with any particular device model or operating-system version.
6.3 An encrypted tunnel does not replace your independent judgment about services you visit, credentials you enter, or configurations you import, and it does not constitute an absolute guarantee of privacy, compliance, or network security.
6.4 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for interruption or data loss caused by force majeure, carrier or network failures, device failures, disabled or restricted system VPN, third-party node or remote-configuration outages, cyberattacks, government action, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
6.5 Interface notes, protocol names, and external links are for reference only. You must independently evaluate use in your own context and under local law.
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, network interruption, traffic charges, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7.2 Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid through Apple official channels for the paid Service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose; if you did not purchase paid Services, the limit is one hundred (100) CNY.
8.1 We may revise this Agreement from time to time and publish updates in the app, on our website, or by other reasonable means. Revisions take effect on publication or on the effective date stated in the notice. If you do not agree, stop using the Service; continued use constitutes acceptance.
8.2 We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service for business, legal, or operational reasons and will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable, unless law or regulators require otherwise.
8.3 You may stop using the Service at any time, including by disconnecting VPN, deleting profiles, disabling system VPN, or uninstalling the app. If you materially breach this Agreement, we may restrict or terminate access without prior notice and pursue remedies under law.
8.4 Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) remain in effect.
9.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
9.2 Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement or the Service shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in a court of competent jurisdiction at the domicile of Weigan Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.
10.1 Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
10.2 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
10.3 Our failure or delay in exercising any right under this Agreement does not constitute a waiver.
