LocalAI License Agreement

In order to use LocalAI and its services, you should read and abide by the "LocalAI License Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as this agreement). A separate agreement for a service, and choose to accept or not. Restrictions, disclaimers may be bolded to your attention.

You have no right to download, install or use LocalAI and related services unless you have read and accepted all the terms of this agreement. Your download, installation, login and other usage behaviors are deemed that you have read and agreed to be bound by the above agreement. If you are under the age of 18, please read this agreement and other above agreements accompanied by your legal guardian, and pay special attention to the terms of use for minors.

1. Scope of the Agreement

This Agreement is an agreement between you and LocalAI regarding your download, installation, use, copying of LocalAI, and use of LocalAI-related services.

2. About this service

The content of this service means that the LocalAI client software provides multiple versions including but not limited to IOS and Android. You must select the software version that matches the installed mobile phone.

3. The acquisition of software

You can obtain it directly from a third party authorized by LocalAI.

If you obtain LocalAI or an installation program with the same name as LocalAI from a third party that is not authorized by LocalAI, LocalAI cannot guarantee the normal use of the software, and will not be responsible for any loss caused to you. After downloading the installer, you need to follow the steps that the program prompts to install properly.

In order to provide more high-quality and secure services, LocalAI may recommend you to install other software during LocalAI installation, and you can choose to install it or not.

If you no longer need to use LocalAI or need to install a new version of LocalAI, you can uninstall it yourself.

4. Software update

In order to improve the user experience and improve the service content, LocalAI will continuously strive to develop new services and provide you with software updates from time to time (these updates may take the form of software replacement, modification, function enhancement, version upgrade, etc.).

In order to ensure the security and functional consistency of LocalAI and its services, LocalAI has the right to update the software without special notice to you, or to change or limit some functions and effects of the software.

After the new version of LocalAI is released, the software of the old version may not be available. The LocalAI Department guarantees that the old version of LocalAI will continue to be available and corresponding services. Please check and download the latest version at any time.

5. User Personal Information Protection

Protecting users' personal information is a basic principle of LocalAI, and LocalAI will take reasonable measures to protect users' information. Except for the circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations, LocalAI will not disclose to third parties without the user's permission, and disclose the user's personal information. In order to provide users with relevant service functions or improve technology and services, you may need to provide some necessary information when registering an account or using this service. Without your consent, LocalAI will not disclose your personal information to any company, organization or individual other than LocalAI, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

6. Terms of Sovereign Power and Obligations

LocalAI especially reminds you that you should keep your account properly and log out safely when you are finished using it.

Note to users: You understand and agree that, in order to provide you with effective services, you hereby permit LocalAI to utilize the resources such as the processor and broadband of your mobile communication terminal device. For the data traffic charges that may occur during the use of LocalAI, you need to check the relevant tariff information from the operator.

7. User code of conduct

When you use this service, you must abide by the "seven bottom lines" requirements such as laws and regulations, socialist system, national interests, legal rights of citizens, social public order, morality and information authenticity.

8. Software usage specifications

Unless permitted by law or with the written permission of LocalAI, you shall not delete the intellectual property information on LocalAI and its copies during the use of LocalAI, reverse engineer LocalAI, etc., or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of LocalAI.

9. Take responsibility for your own behavior

You fully understand and agree that you must be responsible for all actions under your registered account.

10. Other

Your use of LocalAI means that you have read and agreed to be bound by the LocalAI Agreement. LocalAI reserves the right to amend the terms of this Agreement when necessary. If you do not accept the revised terms, you should stop using LocalAI.
